How much would it cost to change an automatic 300zx to a manual transmission??

I really want to find a resonably priced nissan 300zx somewhere around Erie Pa but I cant find anything in my price range($6k). All I can find are useless automatics. How hard and costly would it be to buy an automatic 300zx and change it to a standard? Any help/advice would be greatly appretiated. How much would it cost to change an automatic 300zx to a manual transmission??The short answer is more than the car is worth. The twin turbos on these cars are by transmission. The automatic has 2 smaller turbos which spool up quicker than the manual transmission, but make slightly less horsepower. The manual vehicle has bigger turbos, so you would have to buy turbos, ecu, tranny, etc. By the way, you must be a very good manual driver to beat the automatic car in a 0-60 run. Also, these are VERY expensive cars to maintain. If you have limited funds, I would recommend a non-turbo ZX. Not a fast but definitely easier on the pocketbook! Good luck! How much would it cost to change an automatic 300zx to a manual transmission??Please think about a 350z after you locate a manual and engine control module and pedals and all the softwear to make turbocharger work with manual you could of had a 2003 or 2004 350Z. And work for your car $6,000 is a little less than injectors and new turbo's would cost manual gear box is different for turbo because the clutch is bigger. I am currently doing a twin turbo conversion into a 2+2 1990 ZX. Bigger Ball bearing turbos and porting and polishing to match. Larger injectors 550 CC and ECM modifications and single side Air flow meter Plate type front mount intercooler just parts alone will cost $9,000 and the car is perfect to start with and the Front clip was from JDM and was $2,100 from Japan. How much would it cost to change an automatic 300zx to a manual transmission??about 3 grand (thats including parts). find a half decent mechanic and it should be around that price. also the different turbos on the auto makes about 20 less horse power stock but they spool up around 350 revs faster so its not like it matters a whole lot
