My friends mom has a 2002 kia optima siting in her drive was because it can only go 25mph. I asked whats wrong with it and she said it was the calibrator converter.

Does any one know how much it would cost to repair this?How much would it cost to change the calibrator converter on a kia optima 2002?What is a calibrator converter? I know of a catalytic converter, but that wouldn't make a car go only 25mph...
There has got to be something bigger wrong with it. Ask her if you can take it to a mechanic and have them take a look and give you a quote.
