Do you have a well equipped shop? Okay, first take out the clutch pedal and the associated hardware. Now remove the transmission, the clutch, the pressure plate, and the flywheel. Find an automatic transmission that will fit your car, and weld the needed piece on the frame to hold it in place. Get the flex plate that replaces the fly wheel, and bolt the torque converter in place, you may have to modify the drive shaft...bottom line, it's a LOT of work. Sell what you don't want, buy what you do want. Much easier that way.
